The least addictive antidepressant is Celexa as well as Zoloft, Paxil, Lexapro and Prozac.

The antidepressants that give you energy and motivation are Prozac also known as Fluoxetine and Ritalin.

Ritalin works by increasing the amount of dopamine that is released in the striatum which is a key region in your brain that is related to motivation, cognition and action.

Prozac  works by increasing the levels of serotonin in the brain.

Serotonin is thought to have a good influence on mood, emotion and sleep.

Fluoxetine helps many people recover from depression, and it has fewer side effects than some other antidepressants.

The best and also the mildest antidepressant is Celexa which is the best tolerated SSRIs for most people and it tends to cause less weight gain and can have a lower risk of leading to insomnia than some other SSRIs.

Celexa is also known as Citalopram and is one of the first choice of antidepressants for the treatment of depression in adults and is taken by mouth once daily.

The best antidepressant for anxiety and panic is Prozac also known as fluoxetine.

Other good antidepressants for anxiety and panic are sertraline (Zoloft) (Paxil, Pexeva).

The top 5 antidepressants for anxiety are lexapro, Paxil, Paxeva and Brisdelle, Zoloft, Celexa and Prozac or Sarafem.

Lexapro is better for anxiety than citalopram.

There is something better than citalopram which is Lexapro which works better for depression and depression symptoms.

You can replace citalopram with venlafaxine or duloxetine.

You can stay on citalopram for as long as you need too but most people stay on citalopram for only 6 months to a year.

Some side effects of taking citalopram are irregular heartbeat, pounding heart and fast heart rate.

When on citalopram you do sometimes feel tired all the time or at least when you start taking citalopram.

Some people taking citalopram feel tired all the time when on citalopram and others don't always feel tired all the time.

Withdrawal from citalopram will feel like an electric shock sensation in your head, anxiety, changes in mood, depression, mood swings and irritability.

At first the citalopram will make you feel less anxious and lift your mood and you should also feel more relaxed about things you used to worry about and you should sleep better.

Taking citalopram does sometimes dull your emotions and one of the widely and most commonly reported side effects of citalopram and SSRIs is blunting where people report the feeling of being emotionally dull and no longer finding things as pleasurable as they used to.

Citalopram can make you feel emotionally numb and you might feel less like yourself.

And although the symptoms of depression should have decreased you may also have a sense that other emotional responses such as crying or laughing.

After you take citalopram it may take you a few weeks to begin to feel better and as your symptoms decrease then you may wonder if you need the medication and want to stop taking it but you should only do so if your doctor says it's okay.

The rules for taking citalopram are you will most often take citalopram once per day and you can take citalopram any time of the day although it's best to take the citalopram medication the same time every day.

You can also take citalopram with or without food and if you have any trouble sleeping then it's best to take citalopram in the morning.

Citalopram is a depression medication and antidepressant that is in a class of antidepressants called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).

The antidepressant citalopram works to treat depression by increasing the amount of serotonin, a natural substance in the brain that helps maintain mental balance.

The medication citalopram is a strong antidepressant and is much more powerful than most other antidepressants are except for escitalopram for acute phase depression.

The escitalopram for acute phase depression is more powerful and stronger than citalopram.

Citalopram  is not the same as Xanax although they are similar and used to treat anxiety however Xanax is also used to treat panic attacks and both citalopram and Xanax belong to different classes of drugs so they are not the same.

The Xanax inhibits the brains neural activity which slows a person down and calms them.

The way that Xanax works in your brain is by inhibiting the brains neural activity which slows a person down and calms them.

When your brains neural activity is higher and working too fast then you're not as calm but when you get that brains neural activity slowed down then you're more calm, less anxious and your muscles are more relaxed.

The Xanax also works as a muscle relaxer as well.

The medication Xanax is a sedative but can also cause some other health issues with your brain so that means that Xanax is not for everyone.

Some people have reported that Xanax caused some memory loss or other brain damage but that is rare.

Xanax has been known to cause paranoid or suicidal ideation and impair memory, judgment, and coordination. Combining with other substances, particularly alcohol, can slow breathing and possibly lead to death.

Never take more Xanax without your doctors advise.
