Some Debit cards do have foreign transaction fees if you use your debit card in a foreign country where there's no banks in the foreign country that are owned by the same bank you use or are the same bank.
Foreign transaction fees are charged for any transactions made in a foreign country where your bank has no bank branches in those countries.
