A good set of tires should last up to 60,000 miles but most times people change out the tires before they reach the mileage of 60,000 miles.
Tires regardless of miles accumulated on them should be replaced after a 10 year period even if you haven't driven 60,000 miles on the tires because overtime tires start to crack and the rubber wears down and after 10 years you risk having a tire blowout no matter how good the tread looks on the tire.
Periodically inspect your tires for cracks and bulges in the tire.
If your tire has any bulges then it need replaced and if it has bad cracks it needs replaced soon too.
