To get seen faster in an emergency room you should say what illness you have but don't lie.

If you're really having chest pains or you're having a possible stroke then tell the ER doctors or staff about it.

However be patient as you will eventually be seen but the more serious medical issues are taken care of first and then they get to the less serious health issues and will see you eventually.

Even getting to the hospital by ambulance does not always mean you'll be seen right away unless it's a true medical emergency or you're about to die.

The best day to go to the ER is on Saturday and Sunday between or between the hours of 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM which are the least busiest times in the ER.

However if it really is a true emergency then the best time to go to the ER is anytime that you need too.

Health issues that classifies a patient as urgent are bleeding that lasts longer than 10 minutes, heavy bleeding, cuts that require stitches, heat stroke, chest pain, heart attack, trouble breathing, facial drooping, stroke.

Symptoms that will get you admitted to the hospital include confusion, concussion, head or eye injury, serious burns, fainting or changes in your mental state, slurred speech, weakness/numbness on one side and chest pain or difficulty breathing.

If your symptoms are not serious then you can go to urgent care instead but if your symptoms are serious or life threatening then you should always go to the emergency room instead.

Urgent care is much cheaper than the emergency room as urgent care costs around $100.00 to $200.00 or so depending on the urgent care center and an emergency room visit can cost as much as $1,800.00 to $2,000.00

People who use urgent care the most are women and those who cannot afford an ER visit for ailments or injuries that are not really severe enough to warrant an ER visit.

Men are less likely to visit the urgent care center than women.

Urgent care clinics tend to be busiest during the evenings and weekends, when primary care offices are closed.

There are as many as 6,339 urgent care companies in the US and at least 10,800 active urgent care centers or urgent care clinics in the US.

The cost of a MedExpress visit is $199.00 without insurance.

However the treatment you get can increase the cost of the MedExpress visit.

MedExpress hase over 145 MedExpress locations and most major insurances are accepted by MedExpress and they also offer affordable healthcare and self pay pricing.

MedExpress can diagnose kidney stones, broken bones, UTI and a variety of other health conditions as MedExpress has an onsite lab as well as digital X Rays and full time radiologic technologists.

MedExpress can do UTI tests as they have an onsite lab which means that MedExpress can quickly diagnose and treat UTI or urinary tract infections.

MedExpress annual revenue is $121.2 million dollars and MedExpress's SIC code is 80,801

The difference between urgent care and emergency rooms is the severity of the health problem.

If the condition is life-threatening, go to an emergency room.

If the condition is a minor illness or injury, take advantage of the convenience and affordability your local urgent care center.

There are a few key differences between urgent care and the emergency room (ER).

Urgent care is for injuries or illnesses that are not life-threatening.

The emergency room, on the other hand, is for serious issues that may be considered a medical emergency.

If you have a minor illness or injury that can't wait until tomorrow, Urgent Care is the way to go.

Also, it is a good option if you have illnesses or injuries without other symptoms, or if you do not have other underlying health conditions.

For example, an earache can easily be treated in Urgent Care.
