Baking soda does work to get rid of bad breath.
Baking soda works to rebalance the levels of acid in your mouth that can cause bad breath when the levels of acid in your mouth are off balance.
To get rid of bad breath with baking soda take a half of teaspoon of baking soda and dissolve the baking soda in a glass of water to make a mouth rinse and rinse your mouth out with the baking soda and water mixture like you would with regular mouthwash.
You may have to rinse your mouth out a few times to get rid of the bad breath but it will work.
Rinsing your mouth out with apple cider vinegar can also work to get rid of bad breath as it does for me.
