You can tell if your breast milk is spoiled by smelling it as spoiled breast milk will smell really sour and repulsive and the spoiled breast milk will also most often become lumpy as well.

If the breast milk smells bad or is showing lumps in it then it is spoiled and should be thrown out.

You can mix breast milk from different days as long as the breast milk from different days has been kept refrigerated and is not spoiled.

Breast milk can be pumped into the same bottle all day but you should ideally rinse the bottle between uses to keep old milk from spoiling in the bottle.

Defrosted breast milk can be kept for up to 2 hours before it needs to be refrigerated to prevent bacteria and spoilage.

You can also refreeze the leftover breast milk and then thaw it out again to feed the baby with again the next day.

Breast milk can sit out for 2 hours to 4 hours after baby drinks depending on the room temperature.

However I would not recommend leaving breast milk sitting out longer than 2 hours as bacteria and spoilage can occur.

You can refrigerate breast milk twice just as you would refrigerate cow milk twice or more than once and it will be just fine.

You can take breast milk out of the fridge and put it back for feeding the baby later.

As long as the breast milk has not been left out longer than 2 to 4 hours and it's still good then refrigerating the leftover breast milk again will not harm the breast milk or your baby.

Breast milk is perishable and does go bad if left out too long.

Refrigerated breast milk can be left out at room temperature for up to 2 to 4 hours depending on the temperature of the room.

If the temperature of the room is 77 F or colder then the breast milk can last up to 4 hours at room temperature.

If the temperature of the room is above 77 F then the breast milk will only last about 2 hours before it starts to spoil.
