Introverts are somewhat at a disadvantage because they avoid or get overwhelmed by large crowds and they prefer to keep quiet.

However there are several successful introverts so not all introverts are at a disadvantage.

Most introverts do have good memory and most introverts also have better long term memory than extroverts.

Introverts are not any smarter than extroverts as they are the same in terms of intelligence.

However around 70 percent of gifted people happen to be introverts but being an introvert does not make you any smarter than being an extrovert.

Introverts don't trust easily and instead introverts actually find it very hard to trust people.

Extroverts don't understand introverts because they are wired differently and because the two personality types communicate in different ways.

Extroverts don't really understand introverts unless it's explained to them.

For an extrovert, being social comes so naturally that they can't really wrap their heads around the idea that some people don't like it at all.

Introverts do not sleep a lot or sleep more than extroverts although introverts sometimes need more time to rest and recover from social events.

Around 70 percent of introverts are HSP or high sensitive people although not all introverts are HSP.

Also if you're already a highly sensitive person or HSP then you are much more likely to be an introvert than an extrovert.

Introverts do sometimes have some mental illness and mental health issues just like extroverts do.

However introversion is not a mental health condition itself but instead is a personality trait.

Being an introvert means that you sometimes prefer socializing differently than extroverts although some introverts don't like socializing at all.

Typical introverts like to spend time alone or spend their social time with small groups rather than large ones, which may feel overwhelming and draining to them.

They also tend to want to discuss “real” issues rather than making small talk.

The traits of extraversion and introversion are a central dimension in some human personality theories.

The terms introversion and extraversion were introduced into psychology by Carl Jung, although both the popular understanding and current psychological usage vary.

An introvert is a person with qualities of a personality type known as introversion, which means that they feel more comfortable focusing on their inner thoughts and ideas, rather than what's happening externally.

They enjoy spending time with just one or two people, rather than large groups or crowds.
