Wind Chimes can keep birds away from areas since birds can get startled by any unexpected sudden noise and will fly away when they hear it.

So long as the wind is blowing or the bird happens to land on the wind chimes they'll likely fly away from the area when they get startled.

Even mounting a fake plastic Hawk on your porch or any other area you want to keep the birds away will work or you can also use reflective bird diverters to keep birds away.

I like the sound of metal bells most of all, I looked here https://windchimesguide.com/blog/diy-wind-chimes/ Metal bells can be made in various sizes to create sounds similar to glass ringing on the glare of horns, and type The ball used may emit loud or muted tones. The metal ball in the center, striking the metal bells, will be significantly louder than the rubber ball, which makes a muffled sound, and the wooden ball can make a sound somewhere in the middle. The way they are hung can also affect the clarity of the sound.
