To clean a mattress you can use some baking soda and white vinegar or even some dish detergent.

An upholstery cleaner can also be used to deep clean your mattress.

White vinegar and baking soda and even Vodka kills bacteria on a mattress.

You can also kill bacteria on a mattress by spraying it with Lysol or some diluted bleach or by way of UV light to kill germs and sanitize the mattress.

To disinfect a mattress without washing it, you can sprinkle some baking soda on the mattress and spray the mattress with some diluted vinegar.

Then vacuum the baking soda off the mattress after around 30 minutes or so.

You can also spray Lysol spray on the mattress to disinfect the mattress without washing it as well.

Clorox wipes can be used on your mattress to disinfect and clean the mattress.

You can even use a little diluted Clorox Bleach to wipe down the mattress and get rid of germs and viruses.
