The reason no one likes the Nissan Titan is because of the limited engine options, towing capacity, and transmission problems due to radiator issues.

Nissan discontinued Titan due to struggling sales and due to inferiority to it's counterparts and also because American Truck buyers prefer to buy domestic brands.

Automotive News reports that the current Titan will not be replaced, with 2024 or 2025 to be the final model year.

The Titan is Nissan's entry into the cutthroat full-size pickup truck market, a field so cutthroat that 2024 might be the Titan's final year of production.

Nissan will continue to offer the midsize Frontier so its lineup wouldn't be left without a pickup, but the Titan has failed to gain a true foothold in the market.

Among the experts who praise the Nissan Titan truck's reliability, J.D. Power awarded the 2022 Nissan Titan a "Great" Quality and Reliability score of 85 out of 100.

On the other hand, the 2022 Ram 1500 got an "Average" score of 80 out of 100 for Quality and Reliability4 from J.D. Power.

Although it's not popular, Nissan Titan reliability does seem high.

It actually has a predicted lower cost of ownership than other pickup trucks as well.

An investigation into the common transmission problems with the Nissan Titan revealed a key insight.

A radiator design flaw is the root of the Titan transmission failures, thus resulting in early transmission failure and overheating.

The estimated cost to maintain and repair a Nissan Titan ranges from $95.00 to $6643.00, with an average of $322.00

The Titan could be priced higher because the standard model delivers more power.

It has a 5.6-liter V8 engine that cranks out 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque.

All of its competitors offer at least two different engine options.

Configuring the Titan with four-wheel drive and the CrewCab takes it up to $46,475.00

Nissan does have plans to get rid of the Titan.

The Nissan Titan full-size truck does not sell as well as its rivals.

And yet, it manages to be one of the more expensive pickups on the market.

By 2024 or 2025, you should expect to see this model disappear from dealerships.
