The largest alligator was an alligator that measured 19 feet and 2 inches in length and weighed 1,043 lbs and was found near Gainesville Florida.

Although large alligators are pretty uncommon.

Another largest alligator was the Mike Cottingham Alligator that was 13 feet and 3 inches long and weighed 1,380 lbs.

Alligators do have balls and testicles.

An alligator has a pair of gonads or balls that produce sperm and also function very similarly to many other male animals.

The alligators balls or testicles are located inside of their bodies and cannot be seen externally like they can on other animals and humans.

The penis of the American alligator is made of tough, fibrous tissue which sees it constantly fully erect inside its reproductive tract and ejected from the body during mating.

This means that the male alligator's reproductive organs do not change shape or size when aroused, and does not require inflation for mating.

American alligators reproduce sexually, with internal fertilization. Because alligators are oviparous, after fertilization takes place, the female alligators lays eggs.

American alligators are seasonal breeders and breed once each year.

The breeding season starts in April and lasts throughout June.

A crocodile cannot breed with an alligator because despite having a similar appearance the crocodile and alligator are genetically too different and although they are related they long ago diverged into different genera.

Also Alligators and Crocodiles belong to different subspecies (Alligatoridae and Crocodylidae).

The genetic differences between Alligators and Crocodiles make it impossible for them to have progeny.

A crocodile has a bite force of 3,700 psi which is enough of a bite force to actually bite through steel.

Crocodiles have a very powerful bite force up up to 3,700 psi which is enough to bite through steel.

Although if a Crocodile got into a fight with a hippo the hippo would likely win the fight because the hippo is much bigger than the crocodile even though the crocodile has a much more powerful bite force.
