8 years old is too old for wearing diapers all the time unless they have bladder or bowel issues and need the diapers.
Or if the 8 year old wants to wear the diapers all the time then that is also okay but other than that an 8 year old should be potty trained.
8 years old is not too old for diapers if they need the diapers for bed wetting or incontinence.
However an 8 year old should be potty trained and out of diapers if they are healthy and normal without any bladder issues.
But if the 8 year old requires diapers for bed wetting or in the daytime then they should wear them as there's no actual age limit for diapers.
