Landlords are required by law to fix things in your apartment or rented home within 30 days.
Although some things such as a major plumbing problem should be fixed within a few days depending on how fast the landlord can get someone to the apartment or house to fix the problem.
Sometimes it can take a few days to get a plumber to be available or an electrician to be available to fix a problem.
But a landlord should not take more than 30 days to fix something.
