You can prevent recurring nosebleeds by applying some Vaseline "petroleum Jelly" to the inside of your nostrils to keep your nostrils moist which will prevent your nose from drying out and cracking blood vessels inside your nose which is a common cause of nose bleeds.
When your nose gets dry the tiny blood vessels are prone to break and cause nose bleeds.
Also keeping your house moist with a humidifier or vaporizer especially during the winter when your furnace is on can help keep the air moist and keep your nostrils moist to prevent your nose from bleeding.
