The average hourly pay rate for Americans is around $23.99 per hour for the higher wage earners and around $8.00 to $10.00 per hour for minimum wage earners.
In some places such as Arkansas, Wyoming and Kansas the Hourly minimum wage pay is only $7.25 per hour which is not very much to live on.
The minimum wage in those states and other places should be increased since it costs so much to live anymore.
