Labrador dogs are good companion dogs and are pretty loyal.

A labradors care will include daily routines which will be diet control, exercise and physical inspections.

Weekly routines will be grooming, ears, eyes, teeth and nail care.

And caring for a Labrador Retriever isn't as demanding as it is for many other breeds.

Well-bred Labradors are relatively low maintenance, fit and healthy dogs.

But your Labradors continuing health and well-being does depend entirely on you.

Supervise your pet as you would a toddler.
Brush his or her coat as needed, at least weekly.
Labrador Retrievers generally have good teeth, and you can keep them perfect by brushing them at least twice a week!
Clean his or her ears weekly, even as a puppy.

A Labrador dog is a British breed of retriever gun dog. It was developed in the United Kingdom from fishing dogs imported from the colony of Newfoundland, and was named after the Labrador region of that colony.

In general, Labrador retrievers are excellent family dogs, as long as you keep in mind their need for exercise and training.

These are dogs bred to work and work hard and they love to have jobs to do, particularly retrieving.

What are Labrador disadvantages?

3 Cons of labrador's.

Need plenty of space. Labrador Retrievers are large breed dogs.
Higher energy dogs. Labrador retrievers are high energy dogs!
Shed a lot. Because of their double coats, labs can do some serious shedding.

A Labrador dog is nearly fully grown by about 6 months of age and then by 12 months of age the Labrador is fully grown and will likely not grow anymore.

One your Labrador dog is 12 months of age it's usually fully grown by then and is a full adult dog.

Labrador dogs are pretty fast growers and grow from puppies to full grown adult dogs in a short amount of time.

However some Labrador dogs and other dogs may continue to grow a little bit more until 2 years of age but once the dog get to 2 years of age it's not gonna grow any bigger.

I've known some Labrador dogs that were done growing by age 1 while another one continued to grow a bit more until age 2.

The Labrador has a short coat with a thick undercoat that requires grooming. Regular combing, washing, and blow-drying will make it easier to care for an adult dog later on.

These dogs have a weak point - these are the joints. Therefore, it is very important to watch the puppy so that he does not jump and damage them at an early age.

This is not the only problem with this breed. Yellow tears are another defect that can often be found. Therefore, they need nature protection dog food https://www.superiorcare.pet/products/natures-protection-superior-care-white-dogs-grain-free-white-fish-adult-large-kibble-food-for-adult-large-kibble-dogs to regulate the amount of bacteria and fungi in the body so that the coat is perfect and there are no yellow spots on it.
