Some bacteria such as pseudomonas can cause a sweet taste in your mouth.

The sweet taste that the bacteria is causing happens due to a disruption in your olfactory system.

The olfactory system in your body allows your body to smell and when this is disrupted it can result in a sweet taste in your mouth.

A few other causes of sweet taste in your mouth can come from infections of your throat, sinuses and even your nose.
