Healthy poop should sink to the bottom of the toilet.
Poop that floats can be unhealthy or it can sometimes be a result of certain foods you eat.
If your poop floats, there's a slight chance you have steatorrhea, which means you have too much fat in your poop.
Steatorrhea indicates you can't absorb fat properly, and it can be a symptom of the following conditions: Celiac disease.
Floating poop is most often the result of something you ate.
For example if you eat a large meal or something that produces gas, the gas mixes with stool in the intestines.
The extra air from the gas makes poop less dense, or packed. This leads it to float when it hits the toilet bowl.
