Some people say that garlic lowers cholesterol and others say it doesn't.
But maybe it depends on how often you eat the garlic.
For me I found that my cholesterol levels were not lowered by eating garlic if I only ate the garlic once per week but when I started adding garlic to soups 3 times per week then my cholesterol levels did lower after eating more garlic.
So I guess it depends on the individual and how much you eat garlic. I love garlic anyway so I'd be eating it whether it did lower my cholesterol or not and garlic is healthy for you in other ways as well.
