Toothpaste does work to remove blackheads. To remove blackheads with toothpaste place the toothpaste on the blackheads and let the toothpaste dry out completely.

Then once the toothpaste has dried you can wash you face off.

If you add some salt to the toothpaste it works even better at removing blackheads.

Another good home remedy that works to remove blackheads is to take some lemon juice and apply the lemon juice to a cotton ball.

The natural acid in lemon juice will work to get rid of blackheads and even help to get rid of acne and acne scars.

Apply the lemon juice to the blackheads or acne until it dries out and then wash it off your face.

You may need to repeat the procedure for up to a few weeks or a month before the acne or blackheads are fully gone but it will work.
