The way they do an ultrasound on your balls is first a clear gel is applied to the scrotal sac to help transmit the sound waves.

A handheld probe (the ultrasound transducer) is then moved over the scrotum by the technologist.

The ultrasound machine sends out high-frequency sound waves.

These waves reflect off areas in the scrotum to create a picture.

A testicular ultrasound can be embarrassing for some men although the doctors who perform the ultrasound are professionals and will not make jokes or anything like that.

They will simply do the job and be onto the next.

The doctors have seen many mens parts so it's not all that embarrassing.

You should poop before your ultrasound if you need to poop although you should not pee before the ultrasound as it gets close so that you have a full bladder.

Before then you can pee and poop as normal but you should empty your bladder 90 minutes before the ultrasound exam time and then drink 8 ounce glasses of water to fill your bladder again.

Then don't pee until after the ultrasound is over.

If you don't have a full bladder for an ultrasound it can distort the image that is needed.

The image may not be as clear when you don't have a full bladder for the ultrasound so it's important you have a full bladder.

You only need to hold your pee until after the ultrasound.

You should not pee until the ultrasound is over.

Doctors recommend that you empty your bladder one to two hours before the ultrasound.

Drink one liter or 32 ounces of water 30 minutes before your ultrasound appointment.

Don't empty your bladder again until the appointment ends.

Wear comfortable clothing and take any prescribed medication as directed.

A good way you can fill your bladder quickly for an ultrasound is to drink 3 to 4 glasses of water or even some apple juice starting 2 hours before the ultrasound.

2 to 3 of the 8 ounce glasses of water or apple juice can help you fill your bladder quickly.

When you eat before an ultrasound then the gallbladder and ducts will empty in order to help digest the food and so it will not be easy to see on the ultrasound test.

If the ultrasound is scheduled in the morning then you should eat nothing after midnight before the test.

However medications that you need to take can be taken with small sips of water.

An ultrasound is a scan that uses soundwaves to scan and examine internal body structures and parts.

The ultrasound sends out and emits high frequency sound waves that are directed at the tissue that is being examined and recording the reflected sound or echoes to create the image.

A vaginal ultrasound takes on average of 15 minutes to 30 minutes.

In some cases you may be asked to wait after the vaginal ultrasound to have the images checked by the radiologist or obstetrician sonologist.

An ultrasound does not show virginity and cannot determine if you're sexually active or not.

The pelvic ultrasound uses sound waves to make a picture of your organs, bladder, cervix, uterus and fallopian tubes.

If you pee before an ultrasound the ultrasound won't be able to see the ovaries and uterus properly.

You will need to finish drinking 28 to 32 ounces of water 1 hour before your exam so you have a full bladder.

Do not urinate before the exam.

Ultrasound is not bad for health as they use sound waves instead of radiation.

X Rays can be bad for your health as they use radiation although ultrasounds do not use radiation and you're not exposed to radiation from an ultrasound.

Before an ultrasound you'll need to drink as much as 28 to 32 ounces of water 1 hour before the ultrasound and do not pee before the ultrasound.

The difference between ultrasound and sonography is the sonography is the use of an ultrasound tool for diagnostic purposes and the sonogram is the picture that the ultrasound generates.

And the ultrasound is the tool used to take the picture which is the sonogram.

Sonography is a good job and good career choice.

The average annual salary of a sonographer is $72,510.00 and most sonographers work on average of 40 hours a week but the hours work can vary.

As a sonographer an ultrasound technician, you may be called to emergent situations where your findings may determine what life-saving measures must be instituted.

A sonographer is not a nurse but instead a sonographer is a technologist or technician and not a licensed nurse.

A sonographer produces ultrasonic images of your internal organs, systems and tissues, and the job duties of the sonographer are primarily concerned with patient comfort and ensuring the production of quality images.

The RN on the other hand is trained to manage a broader scope of patient care and health advising duties.

Sonographer” means any nonphysician who is qualified by national certification or academic or clinical experience to perform diagnostic medical ultrasound, with a subspecialty in obstetrical ultrasound.

In order to become a Registered Nurse, you'll need to attend a two-year Associate program.

Due to these requirements, a sonography program might be a bit more challenging than a CNA program.

It all depends on the path you choose.

Although both nursing and sonography are important jobs that help patients, they are different kinds of work and involve quite different educational preparation.
