Some forms of tapeworms and other parasites can be passed from a dog to a human.
One form of tapeworm I know of that can't be easily passed to a human from a dog is the flea tapeworm since becoming infected with the flea tapeworm requires the flea to be swallowed before being infected with the flea tapeworm.
But yes tapeworms can be transmitted to humans from dogs.
