The reason why Child obesity is a problem is because it's a serious medical condition that affects children's health and can lead to diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even death in severe cases.

The long term effects of childhood obesity are fatty liver disease, risk of diabetes, coronary artery disease and arterial hypertension.
