I have a credit card because I'm trying to build up my credit, I have a lot of money in the bank. I'm unsure how to use a credit card though. Instead of waiting until near the due date to pay off my credit card bill, can I just pay off the balance after each purchase I make?

You can if you want too. But it won't improve your credit rating anymore.

I'd just wait until I got the credit card bill and then send it in as soon as you get the bill.

Paying your credit card bills on time and not missing a payment will greatly help improve your credit rating.

Paying off your credit card balance after each purchase is a smart way to manage your finances and avoid interest charges. This approach can also help you build your credit score by showing consistent, responsible use. Some people recommend reaching out to institutions like Bayport Credit Union to get more tips on effective credit management. Keeping your balance low or at zero can also make it easier to track your spending. Just remember to always make at least the minimum payment by the due date to keep your account in good standing.
