My 3 year old son is refusing to use the toilet and won't pee or poop until he has his diaper back on.

I'm trying to potty train him but he refuses to use the toilet at all for either pee or poop.

If I don't put his diaper on he'll pee on the floor instead.

For now he's back in diapers full time but I want to get him out of diapers soon.

I wouldn't revert to putting him back in diapers.

When he pees on the floor get a mop and make him clean it up.

Tell him if he continues to pee on the floor then he cleans it up and if he uses the toilet instead he won't have to clean the pee off the floor anymore.

Keep him in underwear and although there will be messes to clean you'll eventually get there.

It's perfectly normal for a 3 year old to still wear diapers and not be potty trained.

When your 3 year old is refusing to potty train it's best to lay off and revert back to diapers for awhile.

Then try again in a few months.

Some kids just are not ready until age 4 years old and eventually your kid will get the potty training down.
