Most types of venereal disease are curable through antibiotics.

However some types of venereal disease are not curable although they can be treated.

Venereal disease can most often be cured through use of antibiotics.

Venereal disease is another term for STD or sexually transmitted diseases which can include gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia and trichomoniasis.

Most often you'll be treated for gonorrhea and chlamydia at the same time because the two infections often appear together.

Herpes and HIV are among the viral STDs that last a lifetime.

Others, like hepatitis B and human papillomavirus (HPV), can be prevented with vaccines but not cured.

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are infections transmitted from an infected person to an uninfected person through sexual contact.

STDs can be caused by bacteria, viruses, or parasites.

Examples of STD's include gonorrhea, genital herpes, human papillomavirus infection, HIV/AIDS, chlamydia, and syphilis.

HPV is the most common STI in the United States, but most people with the infection have no symptoms.

Of these, 4 are currently curable: syphilis, gonorrhoea, chlamydia and trichomoniasis.

The other 4 are incurable viral infections: hepatitis B, herpes simplex virus (HSV), HIV and human papillomavirus (HPV).

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) or sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are generally acquired by sexual contact.

The bacteria, viruses or parasites that cause sexually transmitted diseases may pass from person to person in blood, semen, or vaginal and other bodily fluids.

Untreated STDs can grow unchecked for years in your body and cause potentially serious or deadly diseases to develop.

For example, someone with HPV can get cervical or anal cancer, while syphilis can cause blindness, dementia, and heart or kidney damage.

The most dangerous viral STD is human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), which leads to AIDS.

Other incurable viral STDs include human papilloma virus (HPV), hepatitis B and genital herpes.

The 3 most common STD's are.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) HPV is the most common STD.
Chlamydia. Chlamydia is the most reported STD, which is an STD that must be reported to local health departments when diagnosed.
