You should charge your scooter after every use if you use it everyday to ensure you have a full charge on the battery.

But if you don't use the scooter everyday then you don't have to charge it everyday or after every use.

If you're taking the mobility scooter on a long ride then yes charge it after every use.

Same goes for other scooters if you're not using your electric scooter everyday then you can charge it when you think it needs charged.

The Pride Go-Go mobility scooter takes a size SP12-12HR (12 V 12 AH) battery.

A Go Go mobility scooter battery lasts up to 12 months although some can last up to 18 months depending on how much you use the Go Go Scooter.

After 12 to 18 months it's best to replace the mobility scooter battery.

If the Go Go scooter is really low on charge then it takes up to 14 hours to fully charge the Go Go scooter batteries.

If the Go Go Scooter is only half drained on the battery then it takes around 8 hours.

Make sure you charge the Go Go scooter battery all the way as undercharging can shorten the life of the scooters batteries.

The weight of a Go-Go mobility scooter is 129 lbs with 100 lbs of the weight being the scooter itself and the other 29 lbs being the mobility scooters batteries.

5 beeps on a Gogo scooter means that you have a solenoid brake trip.

When your Go Go scooter beeps 5 times then the solenoid brake trip has occurred.

To fix the solenoid brake trip on your Go Go scooter remove the key and push the manual freewheel lever to the drive position.

6 beeps on a Gogo scooter means that you have a throttle trip.

When this occurs and you hear the 3 beeps on your Gogo scooter the throttle lever was pressed while turning on the scooter.

To fix this and stop the 6 beeps on your Gogo scooter Turn the key off.

Remove your hands from the tiller.

Turn the scooter on.

These beeps are not catastrophic; rather, they are simple reminders to ensure the travel mobility scooter maintains its impressive ability to perform.

If your Gogo scooter starts beeping after holding the throttle down for a few seconds it is likely that cruise control is turned on.

Cruise control is a P1 setting and can be turned on and off through display menu.

If Cruise control is on then the scooter will maintain its current speed after you release the throttle.
