You can switch from Similac to Infamil or switch between any formula at any time although it may take some time for some babies to get used to the different formulas. .

To prepare Aptamil for your newborn you mix 1 scoop per 1 fluid ounce of 30 ml of water.

Use the scoop provided and level off the powder and add the 1 scoop per 1 fluid ounce of water in the baby bottle.

Then cap the baby bottle and shake until the powder is dissolved.

The amount of Aptamil you should give a newborn is 1.5 to 3 ounces of Aptamil formula every 2 to 3 hours.

Babies stay on Aptamil First milk from birth to 6 months of age.
