Cats can't be or have Down Syndrome although they can have features and a condition that looks similar to down syndrome.

Cat Down Syndrome is a neurological disorder in cats that causes the cat to show and exhibit physical symptoms which include low muscle tone, flat or upturned nose, unusually shaped ears, small ears and eyes that are wide apart.

This disorder in cats is not actually down syndrome as cats cannot have down syndrome like humans can but it's similar to down syndrome.

What appears to be down syndrome in cats is a disorder called cerebellar hypoplasia.

Cats have 5 front claws on each paw and a total of 18 paws on all paws.

That is cats have 5 claws on their front claws and 4 claws on each of their back paws.

The weirdest looking cat in the world is the LaPerm cat which is a breed that is originally from Oregon USA which is named because of it's curly and long coat that looks like they had a perm.

Other weirdest looking cats are the Peter Bald Cat, Savannah Cat, Ukrainian Levkoy cat, Scottish Fold Cat, Elf Cat, Exotic Shorthair Cat and Sphynx cat.

As long as you take proper care of your cat they should live a long life.
