I would recommend Maytag for a good reliable washing machine and even clothes dryer.
I bought a Maytag Washing machine and Clothes Dryer set 12 years ago and they have not given me any trouble at all.
Both the Maytag Washing machine and Maytag Clothes Dryer work great even 12 years later and I expect to get at least another 5 or 6 years out of the Maytag Washing machine and Dryer.
