Cloth diapers don't delay baby rolling over as long as you don't make the cloth diapers too bulky.

Average thickness of cloth diapers do not prevent baby from rolling over, walking or crawling but if you add additional layers of cloth diapers and make them bulkier then they could delay rolling over or walking or crawling.

You do have to wash pocket diapers after every use.

The pocket diapers will become dirty and wet when peed or pooped in and so the pocket diaper will need to be washed after every use.

Pocket Diapers also need to be fully changed with every diaper change- meaning you need to replace the pocket diaper and insert with every diaper change.

Diaper Covers however can be wiped clean on the inside (unless soiled), and you would only need to swap out the insert/flat/prefold with a clean one.

Using cloth diapers can cause a UTI or urinary tract infection especially in baby girls if you don't change the cloth diaper as soon as possible when wet.

With cloth diapers the pee is still in contact with the child's skin which means the pee can get back into the baby girls vagina or urinary tract.

With disposables the diapers hold the pee away from the skin and lock the pee and wetness away which can prevent the pee from getting back into the girls vagina.

As long as you change the cloth diaper often enough though they should not cause your baby to get a UTI or urinary tract infection.

Cloth diapers can be used for the same amount of hours that disposable diapers can be used.

However with cloth diapers they usually need to be changed sooner than disposable diapers when wet.

With cloth diapers you may need to change the diaper every 1 hour to 2 hours while disposable diapers can sometimes go as long as 3 to 4 hours between diaper changes when wet.

Cloth diapers can last for several years when cared for properly.

With cloth diapers you can buy one set of cloth diapers and use them over and over again for multiple babies.

So you won't need to buy more cloth diapers again after you buy your first set of cloth diapers.

Usually the cloth diapers can last for around 12 years or so before they need replaced.

Cloth diapers usually need changed every 1 to 2 hours while disposable diapers can go as long as 3 to 4 hours between diaper changes depending on the age of the baby and how much they pee.

Cloth diapers don't make baby bow legged although cloth diapers that are too thick can delay walking and make it harder for a baby to walk when they are learning to walk.

Diapers whether disposable or cloth do not cause bow legs in babies.

Bowlegs are actually considered a normal part of growth in babies and toddlers.

In young children, bowlegs is not painful or uncomfortable and does not interfere with a child's ability to walk, run, or play.

Children typically outgrow bowlegs some time after 18-24 months of age.

To wash cloth diapers with poop you should use a sprayer such as the shower sprayer or rinse the cloth diapers with poop out in the shower.

You can also soak the cloth diapers with poop in the toilet or in a bucket of warm water to help remove poop and you may need to scrape off some of the poop.

Then place the cloth diapers in the washing machine and wash them without anything else to remove the rest of the poop.

You can also install a cloth diaper sprayer to your toilet line and then use the sprayer to clean the cloth diapers and flush the poop from the cloth diaper down the toilet.

Cloth diapers are uncomfortable for some babies although some babies are comfortable in cloth diapers.

Some babies prefer to wear the cloth diapers instead of the disposable diapers and some babies hate the bulky feeling of the cloth diapers and prefer the disposable diapers.

Wearing cloth diapers can delay babies walking if the cloth diapers are too thick or too bulky.

When cloth diapers are too thick or too bulky it can spread the babies legs out and make it difficult for the baby to walk properly so it may take longer for the baby to walk.

With disposable diapers they are thinner and so the baby will walk better and earlier in most cases when wearing disposable diapers instead of cloth diapers.

Cloth diapers can be used at some daycare centers although other daycare centers don't allow the use of cloth diapers.

Each daycare has it's own policy on cloth diapers and you may find some daycare centers that will use and change cloth diapers while other daycare centers will require that you send the baby or toddler in disposable diapers while at daycare.

Cloth diapers are still available although cloth diapers are not as widely used as they used to be.

You can buy cloth diapers like the old fashioned pin on cloth diapers or you can also buy the All in one cloth diapers that don't need plastic pants.

The percentage of parents that use cloth diapers instead of disposable diapers is around 9 percent.

Only around 9 percent of parents with kids in diapers use or have used cloth diapers while the other 91 percent of parents use or have used disposable diapers.

The disadvantages of cloth diapers are the cloth diapers keep the baby feeling wet, the cloth diapers can give your baby a rash, cloth diapers are less sanitary than disposable diapers, cloth diapers require work to clean and keep clean, cloth diapers use detergent and water to clean.

Also another disadvantage to cloth diapers is you have to carry the dirty or wet cloth diapers back with you when away from home but with disposable diapers you can just throw them away.

Parents use cloth diapers instead of disposables for reasons such as saving money, because they cannot afford disposable diapers or because they think it's better for the environment.

Some parents don't have the money to buy disposable diapers monthly and have to use cloth diapers instead and some parents use cloth diapers because they think it saves them money or because they think they are doing something good for the environment.

Some babies do get more diaper rashes with cloth diapers than they do with disposable diapers.

The reason some babies get more diaper rash with cloth diapers is because the cloth diapers don't absorb the pee as good or hold the pee away from the skin as good as disposable diapers.

Peeing in a cloth diaper is similar to peeing in underwear or a towel and sitting in it.

While peeing in a disposable diaper is very different as the pee is locked into the diaper through the use of SAP or Super Absorbent Polymer.

So the skin stays drier when the baby is wearing a disposable diaper than it does when the baby is wearing cloth diapers.

Some pediatricians recommend cloth diapers for some babies although other pediatricians don't recommend cloth diapers and recommend disposable diapers such as Pampers Diapers.

When cloth diapering you save some money in the short term but when you add up the cost of the detergent, electricity, water etc and your time you don't really save any money in the long run.

Disposable diapers can be bought pretty cheaply now if you buy the cheaper brands of disposable diapers.

Buying cloth diapers costs around $200.00 to $300.00 for the amount of diapers you'll need.

Then you have to factor in buying the laundry detergent, the cost of the water and electricity to wash and dry the diapers and the cost of your time to wash and clean those diapers.

You also need to change your babies cloth diaper more often with cloth diapers and with cloth diapers babies are more prone to diaper rashes.
