Poop that is sticky like peanut butter is caused by nutrient malabsorption which means your body is not able to properly and completely absorb the nutrients or digest the nutrients in the food from your gastrointestinal tract because of damage to the small intestine.

Or because your body is not producing enough pancreatic enzymes or you have liver disease, HIV or AIDS or other health conditions.

Poop that is black and smelly is caused by a problem with your upper digestive tract.

The black and smelly poop most often is an indication of bleeding in your small intestines, right side of your colon or bleeding in the stomach.

You should see a doctor when you have black and smelly poop as it's not normal.

Poop that is foamy and floating is usually a result of having an increased amount of fat in your poop.

The cause of increased fat in your poop can be caused by cystic fibrosis, giardiasis, chronic pancreatitis and celiac disease.

In babies foamy poop can be caused by breastfeeding.

Poop that is white and fuzzy is a result of a lack of bile and is not normal.

White poop or white and fuzzy poop is not normal or healthy and you should see a doctor as it can be a sign of a serious underlying condition.

The Bile is a digestive fluid that is produced by your liver and stored in your gallbladder.

Poop that is yellow and slimy is most often a result of too much fat in your diet.

Or you may be experiencing malabsorption disorders such as celiac disease which is where your body does not absorb enough nutrients.

Healthy poop should appear as and look like a sausage or log with a smooth surface and be relatively easy to pass and be brown in color.

However healthy poop can be either brown or even green in color and still be healthy.

A healthy poop, should reflect a mixture of all the colors of the food you eat and that bile.

Almost any shade of brown, or even green, is considered OK.

Normal poop color is brown.

This is due to the presence of bile in the stool.

Normal poop color can range from light yellow to brown to almost black.

However if your poop is red, maroon, black, clay-colored, pale, yellow, or green this may signify a problem.

Bile from the liver creates the typical brown hue of a healthy bowel movement.

When the poop is very pale, it often means that not enough bile is reaching the poop.

Problems with the gallbladder, pancreas, or liver are reasons why poop may not contain enough bile.

Normally poop should be brown, have a peanut-butter texture, and look like a sausage.

If you have abnormal colors, it may be due to something you ingested.

But it may also be due to serious illness.

If it's abnormal once, it's likely nothing to worry about.

Symptoms of an intestinal blockage include severe belly pain or cramping, vomiting, not being able to pass stool or gas, and other signs of belly distress.

Floating poop is often an indication of high fat content, which can be a sign of malabsorption, a condition in which you can't absorb enough fat and other nutrients from the food you're ingesting.
