Does sugar increase blood pressure?

Sugar does increase your blood pressure and if you have high blood pressure you should avoid too much sugar.

However if you have low blood pressure then consuming sugar can help increase your blood pressure.

Salt also increases blood pressure as well.

Low blood pressure can make you sleepy and tired and dizzy.

If you're constantly feeling tired or dizzy you could have low blood pressure also called hypotension and should see a doctor.

A blood pressure of 90 over 60 is a good blood pressure and even 120 over 80 is a good blood pressure.

Blood pressure of 140 over 90 or more is high blood pressure.

The blood pressure that is considered Normal blood pressure by age for young people and sometimes older people is (<120/80 mm Hg) although it can vary.
