To treat diaper rash you can apply what is called butt paste to your child's diaper rash.

The butt paste is a very effective diaper rash cream that helps clear up diaper rashes quickly. It's also a good idea to apply the butt paste to the child's bottom when you change their diaper.

Be sure to wash your hands before and after every diaper change and check your child's diaper often so they won't be in a dirty or wet diaper too long.

Your child should need a new diaper every 2 to 3 hours and the child will need a diaper change after they poop in the diaper right away.

I've also read that giving your child an oatmeal bath will help clear up a bad diaper rash.

If you can't get the diaper rash to go away at home you may have to take your child to see his/her pediatrician and get a stronger based diaper rash ointment.
