A lazy gut is a condition that causes slow movement of waste through a persons digestive system which is primarily due to reduced motility of the large intestine.

A lazy gut is also a type of constipation known as functional constipation that has no clear cause.

Some things you can do to fix a lazy gut include.

    Eating more fiber-rich foods, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes.
    Drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated.
    Exercising regularly.
    Taking probiotic supplements to encourage a healthy balance of bacteria in the gut.
    And not postponing bowel movements once the urge arises.

Some ways to fix your gut health are to get plenty of exercise, eat healthy, get enough sleep, avoid too much sugar and sweeteners, eat prebiotic fiber, reduce stress, eat fermented foods and take probiotics.

Foods that cleanse the gut are.
