The length of time it takes for a cat to show signs of poisoning depends on what poisoned the cat.

In some cases the signs of poisoning in a cat will appear within 10 to 30 minutes and sometimes it may take as long as 24 to 48 hours for the cat to show signs of poisoning.

A poisoned cat can most often be saved as long as the cat gets prompt medical attention by a vet and depending on what has poisoned the cat.

If a cat is poisoned such as from rat poison or mice poison or some other poison they could die within 10 to 24 hours if not treated.

Or if the cat was poisoned by eating some poisonous plant they may recover without medical treatment although they still should see a vet if possible.

The sooner the cat gets medical treatment the better chance the cat has at being saved from death of being poisoned.
