To qualify for medicaid you have to be age 18 or above unless the child has a disability requiring nursing care and the parent has to sign the child up.
If you're under 18 and move out you won't be able to qualify for medicaid and will have to have private insurance.
Plus your income has to be below a certain level to qualify for medicaid anyway.
