Does alcohol conduct electricity? Does 70% alcohol conduct electricity?
Glucose and alcohol are not ionic compounds, rather alcohols are covalent compounds because the electron molecules are strongly bonded instead of being moved between atoms.

In addition, to conduct electricity, a solution is desirable to have free ions (e.g. water). For alcohol chemicals, there are no free ions, so only H is not enough. Therefore, alcohol solutions do not conduct electricity.

wash electronics with alcohol, use alcohol to wash electrical appliances.

But, when using alcohol 70 or alcohol 90 both have the ability to conduct electricity because in the composition now there is a large amount of water. Water composition accounts for up to 30% for 70% alcohol and 10% for 90 degree alcohol.

Some types of alcohol do conduct electricity although usually not very good.

Isopropyl alcohol (which is usually the main component in rubbing alcohol) has a conductivity of 6 μS.

Glucose and alcohol does not conduct electricity in its aqueous solution state. Glucose and alcohol are non-electrolytes.

They do not dissociate in aqueous solution. No current carrying ions are produced.

Alcohol (isopropyl alcohol, ethanol and isopropanol) is a polar solvent (very conductive) and is potentially corrosive (contains water).

Alcohol is a bad conductor of heat and electricity as it does not ionize.

Alcohol doesn't have free moving ions.
