LED trailer lights can flicker due to bad ground, bad wiring, loose connections and even electrical interference.
If your LED trailer lights are flickering I would first check the wiring connections to ensure the connections are not loose and are making contact.
Sometimes a loose positive or negative wire can cause the LED trailer lights to flicker as they are not making proper connection so the power to the LED trailer does flow properly and gets disrupted enough to cause flickering.
The wiring to the trailer from the vehicle could also be bad but if only your LED trailer lights flicker and your tow vehicle lights don't flicker then it's either a problem with your LED trailer lights or something as simple as a loose wiring connection.
Also some vehicles may require your LED trailer lights to have an LED trailer light resistor to help with the power flow and help stop the flickering of the LED trailer lights.
The power resistor is an ideal solution for non-working LED lights. The resistor ensures that the LED lighting simply works again on your vehicle.
No more error messages or blinking LED lights.
This resistor is for 12v, there is also a resistor for 24v available.
Brown wire- connects the tail or parking lights.
Green wire- connects the right turn signal and the brake lights.
Yellow wire- links to the left turn signal and brake lights.
White wire- links to the common or chassis ground.
