Yes you can put liquid bandage on a baby, toddler or child.

Liquid bandage is safe for babies, toddlers, children, teens and adults.

In fact using liquid bandage can be safer for babies and toddlers who may pull off a regular bandage and put it in their mouth.

The liquid bandage will naturally wear off on it's own within 5 to 10 days as the cut heals.

Do not use liquid bandage around the eyes, in the ear or nose, or internally in the mouth.

If the liquid bandage is accidentally applied to any of these areas, call your doctor or provider or 911 or the local emergency number.

It is OK to bathe after the liquid adhesive has dried.

Try not to scrub the site.

If you accidentally cut your baby's skin and it bleeds, gently press a soft cloth pad onto the cut until the bleeding stops.

Don't put on a dressing because your baby might suck it off.

If you're worried about the cut, take your baby to see your GP.

Your child's wound will heal fastest if you create the best conditions for new tissue to grow.

This means keeping the wound clean, warm, and moist by doing things, such as: Washing your hands before touching the area.

Keeping a clean dressing (bandage) on the wound.

Your baby's skin heals way faster than yours.

So all of these things that make your baby's skin super vulnerable stem from the same reason why their skin heals so quickly: they're developing.

And fast (but I'm sure I don't need to tell you that!).

Their cells are constantly replenishing to accommodate physical growth.

To clean and treat a cut on a baby.

Rinse the wound thoroughly with water to clean out dirt and debris.
Wash the wound with a mild soap and rinse well.
Cover the wound with a sterile adhesive bandage or sterile gauze and adhesive tape.
If the bandage gets wet, remove it and apply a new one.
Check the wound daily.

Liquid bandage is a topical skin treatment for minor wounds which binds to the skin to form a protective polymeric layer that keeps dirt and germs out and moisture in.

For the fast-acting, reactive adhesive that is used to mend deep cuts or surgery wounds, see cyanoacrylates (specifically 2-Octyl cyanoacrylate).

The seal with liquid bandage lasts for 5 to 10 days.

It will fall off naturally after it has done its job.

In some cases after the seal falls off, you can reapply more liquid bandage, but only after seeking medical advice from your health care provider.

But most minor cuts will be mostly healed at this point.

Liquid bandage only needs to be put on once.

It seals the wound and may promote faster healing and lower infection rates.

Also, it's water-proof, so you can bathe or shower.

Wash and dry the wound first.
