If your accelerator sticks when you're driving first try to remain calm and try tapping your foot on the accelerator to maybe get it to unstick.
If that doesn't work shift the car into neutral and apply the brakes.
Turn your flashers on as well and if you have too look around and see if there's a way you can get off the highway even if you have to run through a fence into a field if possible.
