What did you learn from previous relationships?

Previous relationships taught me:

  • Value good times, but cherish difficult times
  • Forgiveness
  • Courage and perseverance in the face of loss
  • How to argue like an adult instead of trying to win
  • Loyalty is inclusive and not exclusive
  • Love is about hard work and equal effort
  • Communication can make or break a relationship
  • Showing respect will get you respect, unless you’ve fallen in with someone who doesn’t love you
  • Never talk out of the bedroom
  • Always say “I love you” when leaving for the morning; you don’t know if you’ll be back
  • Hugs mean more than kisses
  • Sex doesn’t fix a problem, but it can sure cause one.
What about you?

This is true in any relationship whether it's romantic or not. If you're dating someone and they don't respect you, then they aren't going to treat you well. You'll end up getting hurt over and over again until you realize what kind of person they really are.

In previous relationships I've learned to not go too fast when dating someone and learned to take it slow.

I've learned to get to know the person for at least 6 months or even a year in some cases before I got too serious and I learned to be straight up about myself.

I wanted my partner to know about me and love me for who I am.

Marriage is a commitment and should be taken seriously and you should take your time to get to know the person.

Just because someone is beautiful it does not mean they are the right person for you.

Hello there. Classmates.com is a social network that helps old friends and classmates find each other. Basic participation in this social network is completely free, but if you need additional features, you will have to get a premium account. More details about them can be found in classmates customer service which will tell you about all the benefits of a premium subscription and you can easily determine if you need it or not.
