The Apple warranty is for 2 years from date of purchase.

Every iPhone comes with one year of hardware repair coverage through its limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary technical support.

Apple will replace your phone if it's under warranty but Apples warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents or unauthorized modifications.

AppleCare covers theft or loss of your phone if you have AppleCare+ with theft and loss protection.

Both AppleCare+ options extend your coverage and provide up to two incidents of accidental damage protection every 12 months.

AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss adds up to two incidents of theft or loss coverage every 12 months.

AppleCare and AppleCare+ does not directly cover water damage to your phone or Apple Device.

However AppleCare+ will cover two instances of accidental damage from handling within a 12-month period, but those are both subject to service fees.

You will either have to get Apple to repair or replace the device so if you have AppleCare+ then you may be able to get the phone replaced within a 12 month period and pay a service fee which is usually $99.00

The difference between AppleCare and AppleCare+ is the AppleCare protection plan extends the warranty plan and phone support for Mac, Apple Displays, ands Apple TV.

While the AppleCare+ plan offers accidental damage protection on top of the extended warranty and support for iPhone, iPad, and iPod.

AppleCare+ does not cover theft or loss of your phone.

AppleCare+ only covers defects and accidental damage.

AppleCare+ covers up to two incidents of accidental damage every 12 months, such as liquid damage or broken screens, up from two incidents every 24 months previously.

For accidental damage incidents, there is a fixed deductible depending on the type of damage and the device.

The cost to replace an iPhone with AppleCare is $99.00

If your iPhone is covered by AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss, you can file a claim for an iPhone replacement.

You can get your iPhone replaced by visiting an Apple Store or by contacting customer service for Apple and if your iPhone is under warranty then it will be replaced with no charge.

If your iPhone issue is covered by the Apple warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law, there's no charge.

This does not include accidental damage, which requires a fee.

If your iPhone was damaged and you have AppleCare+, the coverage includes accidental damage protection.

Each incident has a service fee.

Apple does not fix your phone and instead replaces your phones.

If it's something simple as a hardware issue that needs updated then Apple may be able to fix those issues.

However if it's something else such as a damaged phone or damaged charging port etc then Apple will just replace it instead of repairing it.

If it is determined what is wrong with your Apple phone is a warranty issue, and you still have a warranty, they will replace it free of charge.

They are the ones that determine that.

If it not a warranty issue, they would offer you an Out of Warranty replacement.

If your iPhone issue is covered by the Apple warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law, there's no charge.

This does not include accidental damage, which requires a fee.

If your iPhone was damaged and you have AppleCare+, the coverage includes accidental damage protection.

The only way to get any trade-in value from Apple is to fix your damaged iPhone and then trade it in.

Apple offers repair services for those in need, so you definitely can get your damaged iPhone screen fixed through them.

However, getting the screen repaired by Apple typically costs about $150.00

Apple has lobbied against allowing customers to fix their own products over the years, specifically citing concerns with safety or performance issues from third-party parts.

Apple also sells a subscription AppleCare+ service for its products that offers consumers repairs at a lower cost than non-subscribers.

You should be leaving the Apple store with a functioning device, not matter what.

Apple does not fix devices, they replace them.

If it is determined what is wrong with your phone is a warranty issue, and you still have a warranty, they will replace it free of charge.
