AppleCare does cover cracked screen if you have AppleCare+

Apple replacement phones are Good and are just as good as your current phone as the Apple replacement phones can be either new or refurbished and if refurbished they meet Apples high quality standards.

You can claim applecare by visiting an Apple store or by calling  800-275-2273.

Calling the number  800-275-2273 and claiming applecare requires you to run a remote diagnostic and provide proof of purchase.

Visiting an apple store requires an inspection of iPhone or device and proof of purchase.

If you lose your iPhone with AppleCare and have AppleCare theft and loss protection then they will replace your iPhone but you may need to pay a fee.

You'll need to file a claim with AppleCare for the replacement of the lost or stolen phone.

AppleCare theft and loss is worth it if you cannot afford to replace your iPhone out of pocket in the event of theft or loss.

Both AppleCare+ options provide repair or replacement hardware service for your iPhone.

Depending on the plan you choose, you'll get up to two incidents of accidental damage protection and up to two incidents of theft or loss coverage every 12 months.
