You can get rid of a swollen bump on your head by applying an ice pack or some ice to the swollen bump.

The ice will help reduce blood flow around the area and help the bump go down.

You can also apply some heat and compression to the swollen bump.

A swollen bump on your head can go away within a few days to a few weeks depending on how bad the swollen bump on the head is.

The signs of a slow brain bleed after hitting your head include.

Headache that gets worse.
Vomiting.
Drowsiness and progressive loss of consciousness.
Dizziness.
Confusion.
Unequal pupil size.
Slurred speech.
Loss of movement (paralysis) on the opposite side of the body from the head injury.
