Dogs aren't allergic to pickles.

Dogs can safely eat pickles as pickles are not toxic to dogs.

If your dog wants to eat pickles with you or just wants to eat pickles you can give your dog some pickles and they won't harm your dog.

Giving your dog some pickles can be healthy for them as well.

However if dogs eat too many pickles they can make the dog sick.

But eating a pickle every now and then won't harm them.

Some dogs may not like pickles though as some dogs hate the smell of pickles and other acidic foods.

But if your dog enjoys the pickle it's okay to feed them a pickle every now and then but just don't feed the dog too many pickles.

Foods that you should avoid giving your dog as they can be toxic to dogs include.

Onions, garlic and chives.
The onion family, whether dry, raw or cooked, is particularly toxic to dogs and can cause gastrointestinal irritation and red blood cell damage.
Chocolate.
Macadamia nuts.
Corn on the cob.
Avocado.
Artificial sweetener (Xylitol).
Alcohol.
Cooked bones.

If you think your dog has eaten something toxic contact the dogs vet or a vet in your area to inquire about what to do.

Dogs can safely eat pickles in moderation but too many pickles could upset the dogs stomach and cause digestive issues.
