I set my GPS to avoid toll roads. There’s a toll road crossing the greater Toronto area (Highway 407). I haven’t used it even once in 20 years even though i quite frequently drive/ride the same route.

It’s a matter of principle in this case - I refuse to line up the pockets of a private corporation by paying to use the road that was built with taxpayer money
