Cats like to sleep under blankets as it's a safe and secure place for them like a tent and the cat loves enclosed spaces and feels secure from threats.

Cats sleep with their head hanging down as it's a natural wild instinct in the cat which conserves the cats warmth while protecting the cats vital organs.

It is OK to sleep with your cat and cats can provide comfort for you and help you sleep better as well.

There's nothing harmful about sleeping with your cat or other animal.

Cats sleep between your legs as they feel comforted and secure because sleeping between your legs is like a cat hammock and it's also warm and cozy for the cat to sleep between your legs.

A cat does trust you if it sleeps next to you and when a cat sleeps next to you they are also doing so for security and for their protection.

Cats tend to sleep with their owners to protect you and for you to protect them as well.

The cat sleeping with you provides them with security and an extra defense if a predator should launch a nighttime attack.

Cats also sleep with you because they trust you, they know you're not a danger and you can also provide an extra layer of defense if needed.

Some cats are naturally protective of their owners especially once they get to loving the owner and have been around them a lot.

Some cats do have a favorite person who they prefer to be around more than others.

It's normal for a cat to favor someone over another especially when they spend more time with that person.

Cats can tell if you are sad as cats can sense sadness in humans and when you're sad your cat will most often get up onto your lap or come near you and want to comfort you.

When I'm sad my cat comes up to me and comforts me every time he sees me sad.

Cats do sometimes like it when you meow at them and they sometimes enjoy the communication and attention.

Although a cat will not understand your meow they do still sometimes like it when you meow at them.

When cats are thinking about things all day they are most often thinking about their humans as well as what they are going to do in the day and they may also be thinking about other cats.

We can't know for sure what cats are thinking but they are likely thinking about good things and things that are going on around them just like us humans think about.

Some ways to tell your cat you love him is to play with him and pet him.

Other ways to tell your cat you love him are.

Blink Slowly and Gaze Lovingly Into the cats Eyes.
Your cat might not appreciate being showered with kisses (and they may think you're a little crazy if you try), but you can “kiss” them kitty style by meeting their loving gaze.
Mimic the cats voice.
Let your cat rub on you.
Groom your cat.

Your cat follows you to the bathroom as they enjoy being around you and don't want to leave your sight.

This is very normal in cats.

The reason they might want to sit next to your feet, or just be near you while you're going to the bathroom, is an instinctive thing that cats all do.

They usually do this to protect you, since going to the bathroom is a very vulnerable action.

Your cat may follow you around everywhere when they are feeling anxious or they want to be around you as they are finding comfort in you being around.

It's very normal for cats to follow owners from room to room.

Cats are often thought of as solitary creatures but they absolutely love to follow us around!

While every cat has their own distinct personality, cats generally enjoy being around their family.

Cats don't know their names although when you say their name they recognize your voice and learn to come when you say their name.

Cats like going in boxes to play and for comfort and security as it's an enclosed space and cats are comforted and secure in enclosed spaces.

Cats also use boxes as hiding places where predators can't sneak up on them from the side or behind.

Some things that cats love the most are to sit in your lap, being loved, being outdoors, some love climbing trees, chasing string, playing with yarn, fresh, tasty food, long naps in cozy spots, and plenty of fun activities.

Cats love grooming themselves and being groomed.
Cats love a clean and private bathroom space.
Cats love and need to scratch.
Cats love high places for watching and hiding.
Cats love a stimulating environment.
Cats love their humans.

Cats do tend to feel love when you kiss them and they may eventually learn that the kisses are love to them and affection.

However at first cats don't understand kisses but some cats do eventually learn to love kisses.

Cats do sometimes forgive their abuses although if the abuse was too severe then the cat may be afraid of the abuser and may even attack them.

If the abuse of the cat is less severe or a one off thing and the person had been previously loving to the cat the cat may show their love back and forgive them.

You should not hiss at your cat as the cat may see the hissing as a threat and become scared of you.

Your cat might hiss at you because they're annoyed with you.

The cat may not want to be petted right then, or it may be because you're trying to pick them up when they don't want you to.

This type of hissing is also common if you have small children at home who don't know when to leave the cat alone.

You can apologize to your cat by simply spending more time with them and petting them and saying your sorry to them.

Cats don't hold grudges and will quickly forgive and forget one-off incidents.

They want to forgive human transgressions as an act of self-preservation, as much as anything else.

Make this easier for your cat by providing a welcoming, comforting environment.

As you cuddle and comfort the cat they will begin to realize you're apologizing for something you've done.

Some ways you can tell a cat hates you are.

Their tail is horizontal. A low-hanging tail isn't a good sign.
They keep hiding from you.
They bite.
They walk away from you.
They hiss at you.
They're friendly to everyone else except you.

Cats don't hold grudges as cats don't have the emotional capabilities to hold grudges and in fact cats are pretty forgiving to their humans and most times a cat may be mad at you for only a few hours before they want to be around you again.

Cats are extremely forgiving animals and will forgive you in a matter of minutes if you make an invitation to friendship.

The colors that cats see are green and blue although the pinks and red colors can be confusing to cats.

A cat is said to have the vision of a color blind human.

When it comes to what colors cats see best, it is believed that cats are able to easily detect blue hues.

More specifically, blue-violet hues are easiest for our felines to detect, but the yellow-green wavelengths of light are also easy to see.

Cats do cry as cats do have tear ducts that work the same as humans tear ducts.

However most often cats don't shed tears of sadness but as a away to keep their eyes moist.

Cat yowling sounds like a long low-pitched moan that comes from a cat's throat, often drawn-out and quite loud.

Unlike meowing, yowling is not only a feline-to-human communication but can be used to speak with other cats.

Once you've heard your cat yowling at night, you will never forget the sound.

Cats can smile but not in the same way as humans.

I've seen cats try to smile and it's pretty obvious although it's not the same type of smile that humans can do.

Cats can't laugh like humans do although they can show happiness and excitement through other ways.

I've known cats to grin and somewhat smile when they think something is funny but they can't actually laugh although they may be laughing inside without us knowing.

Cats don't have a language they speak although cats speak through meowing which is a language that other cats understand.
