I would say a 40th birthday should be called a Jubilee since a Jubilee means a 40th anniversary of an event and a 40th birthday can be considered an anniversary since your 40th birthday is anniversary of the year you were born.

Theoretically it is called Jubilee and many think about this age as the worst nightmare. Indeed when you turn 40 years you think more about past, achievements, regrets and people who aren’t a part of your life anymore. I noticed that people after 40 become philosophical and like to teach moral lessons the younger generation. As for me jubilee age is a fresh start with new perspectives and possibilities. The wisdom gained in 40 years will help you to reach the success faster than you think. I remember the day when I turned 40 years old. I got a lot of gifts and good thoughts from beloved people. I was amazed when my old friend from Europe sent me a gift basket from jetgiftbaskets.com. In such situations I understand that half of my life hasn’t passed in vain.
