A puppy that is becoming or could becoming aggressive will usually start growling, snarling, snapping at you curling it's lip, give you a dead eye stare, aggressive barking and even biting.
Aggressiveness in dogs should not be ignored or tolerated since the aggressiveness can get worse and could lead to the dog turning against it's owners.
